SHEILA DVORAK | ASSOCIATE PRODUCER -

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - ACTING COACH

Sheila is co-founder and Artistic Director of Collective Act Productions, a film and theatre production company based in Brooklyn, NY and Los Angeles, CA. A graduate of Columbia University, Sheila writes and directs for both stage and screen.

Through their filmmaking partnership The Complications, Sheila produced and co-directed eight short films with Tze Chun. Their 28-minute film DOCUMENT screened during the 2006 New Directors Series at The Anthology Film Archives. Sheila’s original screenplay ARTIFICIAL DISSEMINATION was selected for the 2007 Tribeca All Access program run by the Tribeca Film Institute.

In 2008, Sheila was invited to attend the inaugural Pangea Day Film Festival, and served as a filmmaking coach at Christopher Coppola’s PAH-Fest Hollywood. And most recently, Sheila’s original short film VACATION BIBLE LEMONADE screened in competition at the 2008 Woods Hole Film Festival.

Sheila is proud of her work as Assistant Director and Acting Coach on CHILDREN OF INVENTION.
